A method of reducing damage from falling rocks by colliding with moving rocks, which consists of pole ropes, supports, wire mesh, and wire ropes, so that the rocks do not bounce toward the road but flow down to the bottom of the rockfall prevention net.

This is a facility that suppresses the kinetic energy of rocks by the net's own weight and the trapping effect of the loose rock. It uses the friction between the wire mesh and the cut surface to hold the loose rock pieces between the cut surface and the net.

Rockfall prevention net work
After measuring the height M on the wall, weave a net on the ground and lift it with a crane to install it. Because there is a risk of falling rocks when working on the slope with a crane, entry from the lower part is prohibited. Entering after the net is draped over the surface, the net is firmly fixed at the top of the work. Dismantle the link from the rear crane.

It is important to note here that the net is securely fixed and that the worker secures safety by fastening the safety belt hook. When covering the net, the overlap of the net should always be 50cm.

The fixed anchor is made of 25M/M deformed rebar, and the hole on the slope where the fixed anchor is embedded must be drilled using equipment to a depth where the anchor can be sufficiently inserted. When weather conditions are bad, such as snow or rain, moisture condenses on the net and makes the net slippery. To prevent a major accident due to slipping, workers must stop work immediately. Workers engaged in work must undergo pre-work training and exercise. When working, you must wear personal protective equipment such as a hard hat, safety shoes, seat belt, and safety gloves.
